I recently went to CAFE MUSE ( 6547 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90038) after a rehearsal at the Blank Theater during a lunch break. So happy I stumbled into this quaint little vegetarian establishment. I ordered a veggie burger and sweet potatoe fries. Can you say mmmmmmmmm. So much flavor packed into that burger considering I am a meat conisore. Everyone was telling me I had to order the sweet potatoe fries and after I cleaned my plate I see why. I havent been to may begatarian spots but Cafe Muse is on the top of my list if I am ever in a vegetarian or vegan mood lol. They also have open mic nights on Sunday for those who have original music and need a new ear to hear your stuff.

Nothing Like BOSSA NOVA
Brazilian Food that tantalizes the taste buds. BOSSA NOVA has been around since the 90's and to this day is still popular to locals and celebs alike. There are three locations that I know of but the spot I always find myself at is 7181 Sunset Blvd. 90046. Not only does Bossa Nova have great food but it stays open until 4am. Who says you cant great food in LA after 2am lol. I usually get the garlic chicken with black beans and rice with plantain and a tropical punch that they have. Between appetizers and meals the price ranges from $7.00 - $30.00 They just added a happy hour so I'm sure there will be even better prices for great Related articles by Zemanta

Dukes in Malibu
I recently was out in Malibu singing at a wedding on the beach that was beautiful. After the gig all of us singers were hungry of course and decided to go to Dukes 21150 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. They say celebrate the Aloha Spirit on the water edge at Dukes. Fun Fact about Duke Kahanamoku is that he is Hawaii most famous citizen and King of international surfing.
We stayed in the barefoot bar to eat and let me tell you best bar food I have ever tasted. We heard on Fridays they even have Hawaiian Dancers. You can have burgers with mango sauce to calamari with guava sauce to coconut crusted shrimp to waffle fries and yam fries and nachos big enough for three people to share we were very satisfied to say the least. Not to mention the amazing view of huge waves crashing on the rocks outside the huge windows. The prices range from $6 to $14. If you dine in the regular dining area the prices are in the $20-$30 bracket. Whatever your budget is you will dine sufficiently. I give Dukes 9 delish stars.

Cheesecake Factory
The Luau salad at cheesecake factory plays with your pallate in a way that is exillirating. Leafy greens with tossed scallions, carrots, avacado, mango salsa in between two layers of a crispy wanton square. The sweet mixed with the tangy is great and even though the plate looks massive its still light so I was full but not in that thanksgiving open your pants way. I went to the cheesecake factory in marina del rey, smaller than most and always busy. Lots on the menu so go there with a taste for something or you will get lost with what to get lol. I give it 9 delish stars.Related articles by Zemanta

The best wings in town right now
Ok so I used to think Hot Wings LA had the best wings. WRONG. KyoChon has the most scrumptious wings ever. I had the signature wings and the spicy honey wings and potato wedge fries. Let me tell you that spice is like no other make sure you have a tall glass of water. For an appetizer I had broccoli salad with sunflower seeds that was really light and tasty. It seemed to take the food forever to get there but that was because I was hungry. But let me tell you it was worth the wait. You can order online as well if you want to just pick your wings up and go. There are many locations in Los Angeles and New York. But the quaint little spot I stumbled on was in the mid Wilshire district 3833 west 6th street Los Angeles, ca 90026. I give it 10 delish starsRelated articles by Zemanta

Visit a cafe in Los Feliz
I just love Los Feliz for a cute cafe experience on a Sunday. Just finished brunch with friends at Fred 62 located on Vermont near Hollywood Blvd. . As I was walking to our table my mouth started watering as I looked at eveyones place. Besides our waitress with the funky attitude the food was great. I got a pancake that was amazing, egg whites of course and chicken sausage that had so much flavor I wanted to go slap the cook for a job well done. It taste like heaven. I would give it 9 delish stars but because of the waitress I give it 8. Its about the whole experience people train your wait staff.Related articles by Zemanta

Best Waffles in Town at Shanghai Reds Sunday Brunch
Im pretty sure most Angelenoes know about Sunday Brunch at Shanghai Reds in the marina. All you can eat goodness with free flowing champagne what more can you ask for. My fav is the omelet bar and the "Waffle Bar". The best belgian waffle in town let me tell you, especially if you drench it in their fresh strawberry sauce and top it off with whipped cream. A M A Z I N G. Not to mention the wonderful waterfront view where you can soak in the sun and watch the yachts sail by as you sip your mamosa and enjoy the singing waiter if you are seated outside (those who know, know lol).. For those who have not been to Shanghai what are you waiting on. There is a pasta bar, fresh crab and shrimp on ice, meat station, hot breakfast station, fresh fruit, sushi, fresh dessert bar and yes they even have a fondue station. Wonderful Egg White Experience at Basix Cafe
So I usually dont eat egg whites. Something about not seeing the yoak makes me think Im not really eating an egg lol. But Basix Cafe changed all of that for me. Today for brunch I had egg whites with spinach and grilled chicken a side of fruit an english muffin and blood orange mimosa. I didnt know egg whites could have so much flavor. Since there is less cholestoral anyway I think might take the yoke out of my breakfast permantely. My friend got a bannana pancake with grilled chicken and whatelse egg whites lol. My other firend got a margherita pizza and all three of our plates were empty by the end of brunch. My friends usually say Im a bird eater but let me tell you I finished my plate today. Basix Cafe is a quaint little cafe that serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner located at 8333 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. Basix is open from 7am to 11pm. I give it 9 delish stars!

Bottega Louie Makes Me Miss New York

Although Bottega Louie is not new to Downtown Los Angeles anymore, I just stumbled onto the spot a few months ago. You can find this spot at 700 Grand Avenue Los Angeles Ca 90017. Let me tell you if you want gourmet food for reasonable prices this is the spot for you. The spot reminds me of a swanky place I might visit in New York's meat packing district. It has a restaurant, a gourmet market, a patisserie and a bar- what more can you ask for in a food establishment. Can you tell I'm excited. You can eat at Bottega Louie monday- friday from 10:30am - 11pm, they're also open on the weekends but the hours are different. My Fav is the Napoli Pizza and all the salads are to die for. Wonderful Decour, Great Food and Reasonable Prices. I give it 10 Delish Stars.
