Wokano happy hour

Wokano has the best happy hour prices for sushi and drinks. My fav is the Pasadena location because there is free parking right across the street in a structure no searching like downtown. My fav is the shrimp tempura roll for $3.99 and the edamame for $2.99 veggie tempura for $2.99.

Harold & Belles

Harold & Belles Restaurant a LA classic is wonderful and gives you so much for your money. We ordered the Jumbalaya with red beans and cat fist strips. Omg enough to feed like 3 people. Usually I cant eat beans without rice but these red beans were so scrumptious I could have just had them alone. The cat fish was good but I have had better and the meat in the jumbalaya was very flavorful especially the links and shrimp that were sprinkled throughout. Most folks who were born and raised in LA know about this little Creole spot on Jefferson. If you dont know go and check it out you will be pleasantly surprised. I give it 4 delish stars!

Chaba Restaurant

The Chaba Restaurant was a nice delight to stumble onto. We were driving looking for Thai food and we saw Lunch Special 11:30 to 2:30pm. That was enough for the car to turn into. Turns out they are usually busy for dinner but they open for lunch just because as they are prepping for dinner. So if you want to get in and out with out a fuss and hussle and bussle this is the place for you. We ordered the lamb panang and chicken fried rice. Bother were wonderful and the meat was so tender in the spicy curry it melted in my mouth.  I would def. give this place 4 delish stars! Its on PCH not far from the beach so you can go run off the pounds you just packed on eating this wonderfulness lol.

Solvang Brewing Company

In a town that goes to sleep early it was nice to find this restaurant. I was hungry the time was 5pm and everywhere on my tripadvisor list for good eats had the closed sign on the front. Finially we saw people outside eating a place that was open hurraaayy! It wasnt the danish pancake that I wanted but it turned out to be a great suprise. I had the Danish Ruben with sweet potatoe fries and my boyfriend had a portabello and steak burger. The ruben was a cool twist on what I know to be the pastrami sandwhich it was cuppled with a red pickled cabbage in "special" sauce on a toasted rye bread. Delish! I reccomend highly.

NBC seafood restaurant in Monteray Park

Great dim sum. This was my first Dim Sum experience and thank goodness I was with some pro eaters. They just keeping bringing the variety of foods to put on your family style spinning table. I loved the fried dumpling with the shrimp inside, the egg rolls were delish and the noodles were yummy. Was not a fan of some of the desserts but that could just be my pallate because others were eating up.  Def. worth trying! I give it 5 delish stars!
