The Best Chicago Style Pizza in Los Angeles

I went to MASA of Echo Park Bakery and Cafe and let me tell you this deep dish pizza is amazing. It takes about 45min to make so the waiters usually tell you right when you come in to order which one you want before you even get your seat.  I had the traditional which was Italian sausage, mushrooms amazing tomato sauce.  A small was enough for two because it was giiiii normous.  Definitely pleasing to the palliate.  I give it 5 delish stars.

Masa of Echo Park Bakery and Cafe is located at:

The Castaway

Just had a wonderfully brunch at The Castway in the Burbank hills. The castaway is located at 1250 Harvard road Burbank CA. The champagne brunch is reminiscent of Shanghai reds in the Marina although I prefer the selection at Shanghai over castaway. Neverless I was still stuffed of crab waffles Korean BBQ and salad and fruit lol. Over all the view made up for the minutes selection.  I give castaway 8 relish stars.

CAFE MUSE

I recently went to CAFE MUSE ( 6547 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90038) after a rehearsal at the Blank Theater during a lunch break. So happy I stumbled into this quaint little vegetarian establishment. I ordered a veggie burger and sweet potatoe fries. Can you say mmmmmmmmm. So much flavor packed into that burger considering I am a meat conisore.  Everyone was telling me I had to order the sweet potatoe fries and after I cleaned my plate I see why. I havent been to may begatarian spots but Cafe Muse is on the top of my list if I am ever in a vegetarian or vegan mood lol. They also have open mic nights on Sunday for those who have original music and need a new ear to hear your stuff.

So I made a wonderful dish of homemade mac and cheese, which happens to be my favorite food of all times. Thought I would share my recipe see how It goes for you my readers.  Tell me if you tryws it at home for yourself or if you have an even better recipe. I used the smaller macaroni noodles boiled water then threw them in for a couple of minutes until they were tender. Graded a whole block of sharp chedder cheese. In a mixing bowl I put cooked noodles half of the cheese a bit of milk (some people use cream) butter and 2 beat eggs. Then I I poured of that into baking pot covered layer with cheese pepper and salt then repeated that with more layers until pot was full covered and cooked in pre heated oven on 350 for 45 minutes.

Didn't quite taste like my grandmas but I'm getting there :)

Sometimes You Should Treat Yourself To A HomeCooked Meal

Sometimes you just need a good home cooked meal. I love to cook so I got inspired tonight to mix a few spices together to tickle my pallet. I started my seasoning my pork chop overnight with garlic salt pepper thyme basil. I smeared butter all over a yam and put that in the oven first because I knew that would take the longest. Then on top of the stove I chopped some mushrooms and onions put It in the skillet with a little oil and red wine vinegar. When those were finished I added fresh asparagus and some tomato paste. I then smeared some black pepper sauce on the pork chops and broiled them for 5 min on each side. I took some canned corn and put cinnamon and sugar and nutmeg on top of the stove. When the pork chop was done so was everything else. Bon appetité. Considering the fact that my moms plate was spotless at the end if dinner I give my homemade creation 10 delish stars.
